Hutton waves the flag for nuclear expansion

John Hutton, the business secretary, will step up the government's support for nuclear energy today by saying that new reactors will be "absolutely indispensable" for keeping the nation's lights on. Hutton will tell the first meeting of the Nuclear Development Forum advisory group that 100,000 jobs could be created and £20bn of private sector investment secured.
